Rail Travel Preferences

Rail Travel Preferences is an expandable/collapsible section of the Travel Preferences tab that displays your rail travel preferences from your Profile and lets you change the preferences for the current search only.

Note: Not all of your rail travel preferences appear on the Travel Preferences tab. Your profile includes additional preferences that are not necessarily trip specific. Setting your travel preferences from Rail Home affects only the current search. To change the travel preferences in your profile, see Travel Preferences.

To Set Your Hotel Preferences

This screen appears when you begin a new hotel search.

Before you click the Search button on a rail search, you should review the Rail Travel Preferences screen in the right pane.
Make any changes to the preferences that you want for this trip. These changes are not saved for future trips.
Continue with your search.

Rail Travel Preferences Fields

The following table lists the fields and controls typically found in the Hotel Travel Preferences section of the Travel Preferences screen.

Field or Control	Description
Class of Service	Drop down selection for Coach, Business, and First. This will be your default Class of Service, and the class the system will search for.
Search for US Government Fares	A check indicates that the system is to return rail options that are priced as US Government fares. Government ID is required at time of travel to travel on such fares.
